Degs & Sal jewelry is handmade of recycled sterling silver in Italy. Each piece is delicately created by the hands of local artisans. The Sterling Silver Antique Rope Chain Bracelet features a lightly oxidized rope chain and has two triangular sterling silver beads with engraved details. Two lightly oxidized rope chains are connected to the beads in the center. The bracelet features a stamped logo on the back of the beads and a T bar closure.

The Sterling Silver Antique Rope Chain Bracelet takes design cues from an antique time telling men’s piece, the pocket watch. Pocket watches have an attached chain so they can be secured to a waistcoat, lapel, or belt loop. The pocket watch was developed in the 16th century and became the most popular mechanism to tell time up until World War I, when wrist watches eventually were invented. Not only did the pocket serve as a watch, but it also was a signature male fashion statement for hundreds of years, where many were beautifully crafted in a variety of metals and engravings.
