These boots are so stunning! I can't tell you how long I looked for a Goodyear welted chelsea boot for women that also fit my style - these are it! The quality is amazing and they're comfortable right out of the box. I wore these for 6 hours straight on my feet and running around, and didn't get a single blister or any rubbing at all. I went with my usual size (6.5) and I'm glad I did. There is a bit of room, but I like having that for thicker socks in colder months. Sutro really knocked it out of the park with this one. They make a subtle statement, which I'm all about. 10/10 recommend if you can snag a pair 😊😊❤

Beautifully constructed shoes. They have the warm, rich, punchy scent of a tack shop out of the box that screams “good leather” to me.
I misread the sizing suggestion and bought a half size up instead of down and i’m glad I did. There is a lot of room in the toe, but I think that anything smaller would be too snug around my wide feet, be warned my fellow paddle paws.
The first day I wore them I was moving some furniture around and tipped a heavy table onto my foot, but it didn’t even leave a scuff. Sturdy sturdy. I think these boots will long outlast the investment.
They are also eerily quiet on concrete floors. Great for not being a nuisance in the office or for sneaking up on people in Home Depot or for both if you happen to work at Home Depot, which I don’t, but I imagine...

The quality of these boots is top notch. I originally ordered the Battery boot in black in my normal size of 8.5 which ended up being a little snug. I have a slightly wider foot and the pointier toe box made me need a larger size. The return process was pretty straightforward and any outreach to customer service was answered quickly. I received the same boots in size 9 and they fit perfectly. I wore them around the house the rest of the day as I didn't want to take them off. The Battery boot replaced a similar pair I've had in rotation for years, so I know the style is classic and timeless. The Sutro boots are far superior quality than my previous pair and should be a staple in my closet for years to come. Very pleased with my first purchase from Sutro and plan to buy more in the future.
